Compact and lightweight. The carbon fiber casing is less than 15 inches in diameter, and along with electronics and 42x Fujinon lens that has been in operation having a total weight of 34kg.

The camera can record in 1080 and 720 vertical resolution in both interlaced or progressive formats and at different frequencies, the most common and 50p 25p and 59.94p, 24p and 29.97p
The remote control incorporates the Sony RM-750, providing a touch interface from which you can access all the camera settings, adjust colors, etc..
The Sony HDC-1500 allows resolutions up to 1920x1080 and allows HDCAM SR record to Dual-Link with a flow rate up to 880 Mbps (HQ mode) and a 4:4:4 sampling.
